Co zkoumá epistemologie? [What is the Focus of Epistemology?]
AbstractThe author of the essay reflects two possible approaches towards epistemo- logy. First approach, according to him, originates in the Antiquity and Middle Ages; its systematic form can be also encountered in the contemporary analy- tical philosophy. The other approach was developed within the modern philo- sophy. The key difference is, in author’s view, the different approach towards the human subjectivity: Whereas the analytical philosophers and their pre- decessors prefer the object of knowledge to the epistemic subject, the modern philosophers revers this epistemological order.
